I’m a journalist reporting on people, places and policies in the West.

I’m a reporter at Wyoming Public Media, where I cover stories for NPR member stations around the Mountain West. From my home base in Jackson, Wyoming, I like to focus on women’s health, solutions to our historic housing crisis and other stories that unite rural mountain communities.

My radio pieces have appeared on NPR and Marketplace. My words have also been published in The Atlantic, High Country News, Portland Monthly and NBC stations across the country. I’ve also fact-checked features for the Vox Media Company, The Guardian, Harper’s Magazine and Undark.

I hail from Bend, Oregon, where I found my love for the outdoors. In my free time you can find me scaling rock walls or backpacking in the mountains.
